2.4 Supplied Software
The software installation diskette contains all of the installation and
utility files required for the CATC NetMate Link.
2.5 Cable Connections
Figure 2-1 illustrates the provided USB cable connection from the PC
(rectangular Series A connector) to the Link (square Series B
connector), and a standard 10BaseT Ethernet cable connection from
the RJ45 connector on the Link to an Ethernet port.
Make connections as illustrated below. For Windows 95 and
Windows 98 do not connect the USB cable to the host until asked for
by the Setup Program included in the diskette. For Windows 2000
and later releases use Windows install procedure to add a new USB
device.
