Return Authorization Procedure

A defective PRO-Alert™ Refrigerant Leak Detector, or a defective replacement part or

accessory, should be returned to your wholesaler for warranty evaluation. If you have any

questions, please contact the Customer Service Department at Spectronics Corporation.
NOTE: Do not return your defective unit directly to the factory without first contacting

Spectronics for a Return Authorization Number.

Replacement Parts and Accessories

Replacement parts and accessories for your PRO-Alert™ Refrigerant Leak Detector are

available through the same dealer from which you bought the instrument.

Warranty and Liability

Your PRO-Alert™ Refrigerant Leak Detector is of the finest design and craftsmanship. As

such, Spectronics Corporation warrants that when delivered it will be free from defects in

manufacture.
Spectronics Corporation's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or

replacing, at the option of Spectronics Corporation, any part(s) of the product which, if

properly installed, used and maintained, proves upon factory examination to have been

defective in materials or workmanship within two (2) years from the date of delivery.
Spectronics Corporation does not warrant items that deteriorate under normal use,

including power cells, sensors and filters. In addition, Spectronics Corporation does not

warrant any instrument that has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident, or has

been repaired or altered by anyone other than Spectronics Corporation.

motor, please contact

the Customer Service

Department at

Spectronics Corporation.

sealing.

Straighten the leads with

needle nose pliers, if

necessary, and reinstall

the sensor.

4b. Moisture was absorbed

by the sensor during a

long period without use.

4b. Run the PRO-Alert™ for

at least 20 minutes. The

absorption of moisture

does not affect the life

or sensitivity of the sensor.
