This array has been engineered for maximum gain with
narrow vertical beam width to reduce the effects of man-
made noise in the immediate foreground. Where fixed
sources of noise such as power lines exist, it may be
possible to improve the signal to interference ratio with a
custom designed array.

arrays can be designed to reduce the level of interference by as much

HORIZONTAL PAIR

The horizontal pair has been engineered for maxi-
mum forward gain with optimum side lobe perfor-
mance. The narrow horizontal beam width re-
duces the effect of man-made noise, co-channel
and other sources of interference off the main
beam. Where specific sources of interference can
be identified, a custom designed array may reduce
the level of interference even further.
