Assign an IP address via ARP, RARP, or BOOTP.

Password protection
SOFTWARE UPDATES
Flash memory allows central and remote soft-
ware updates over the network using FTP over
TCP/IP. All software upgrades are available via
Axis WWW server and offered free of charge.
PROGRAMMABLE
Extended CRON service allows periodic
command execution within the AXIS 200+.
This enables programming of events and/or time
triggered functions.
Command examples:
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Simple Mail
Transfer Protocol (SMTP) for image transfer
from the AXIS 200+ to e-mail addresses.
Online/Offline commands establish/terminate
PPP connections to the AXIS 200+.
CAMERA RESOLUTION
Images in compressed JPEG color formats,
selectable sizes:
Huge size: 704 x 576
Full size: 352 x 288
Half size: 172 x 144
Typical file sizes are 23 Kbytes and 10 Kbytes
Picture angle: 51 deg. horizontal, 39 deg. vertical
PICTURE FEATURES
The image size is programmable using CGI
parameters up to a maximum size of 704 x 576.
It is possible to do a zoom-in of 352 x 288.
Server push for live updated pictures.
Parameters for rotation, quality, mirroring, color,
etc. can be set.
PERFORMANCE
A high-quality JPEG file updated in 0.7 second.
Up to 6 frames/second transmitted using server

be downloaded to transfer pictures to your
Web server or to record pictures on hard disk.
Can also be used for monitoring the I/O ports.
