ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.

• Do not touch electrically live

parts or electrode with skin or
wet clothing. Insulate yourself
from work and ground.

gloves.

FUMES AND GASES can be
dangerous.

• Keep your head out of fumes.

• Use ventilation or exhaust to

remove fumes from breathing
zone.

WELDING SPARKS can
cause fire or explosion.

• Keep flammable material away.

• Do not weld on closed contain-

ers.

ARC RAYS can burn eyes
and skin.

• Wear eye, ear and body protec-

tion.

Observe all safety information throughout
this manual.

DEFINITIONS OF WELDING MODES

NON-SYNERGIC WELDING MODES

A Non-synergic welding mode requires all welding

process variables to be set by the operator.

SYNERGIC WELDING MODES

A Synergic welding mode offers the simplicity of

single knob control. The machine will select the cor-
rect voltage and amperage based on the wire feed
speed (WFS) set by the operator.
