Use & Care

Painting & Cleaning

The cabinet and activity panel or magnetic chalk board frame can be painted to match your
door or décor.
Follow these instructions for best results.

Preparation
Wash with mild soap and water. Components should be free of dust and
debris. Allow to dry thoroughly before painting. DO NOT USE adhesion
promoters or primers containing adhesion promoters.
Painting
Apply an interior, water based (latex) paint in thin coats, allowing paint to
dry between coats.

Cleaning Glass
Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water or glass-cleaning solution.
Cleaning Magnetic Chalk Board
1. Clean the Magnetic Chalk Board with a damp cloth.
2. Start at the top and wipe side to side working your way to the bottom
of the chalk board.
Cleaning all other components
Clean shelves, frames, support bar, and hooks with mild soap and water.

Removing dry erase marker
Wipe glass marker board clean with a soft cloth, paper towel, or eraser
designed for dry erase surfaces. Remove dry erase marks on shelves
or frames in the same manner. For stubborn marks, use Mr. Clean

®

Magic Eraser

®

If you mistakenly use permanent marker on the marker
board, go over marker with a dry erase marker then
clean as above.

TIP

Excess paint on inside of cabinet may cause shelves to
fit snugly.

NOTE

Do not recommend cleaning parts in dishwasher.
