RECOVERY MODE
Figure 1: Shows the recommended connection of the TX200 to an A/C System.
CAUTION...
For large capacity systems it is recommended that the A/C System be connected to the
LIQUID VALVE of a DOT Cylinder. The Hose from this DOT Cylinder to the TX200 is then
connected to the VAPOR VALVE of the DOT Cylinder. This prevents introduction of large
quantities of liquid refrigerant, oil and acid into the TX200 which could damage the
Compressor.
Do not depend on the colors of the Valve Knobs to indicate Liquid or Vapor. Always check
the embossed printing on the knobs.
The ERC Cylinder must have an Overfill Protection (OFP) Device.
Disconnect Power Cord from power source while connecting the OFP (Overfill Protection)
Device to avoid bodily injury due to electrical shock.
Connect Yellow Cable from TX200 to OFP Device on ERC Cylinder.
Do not force plug into OFP Device. Look at pins in plug and align them with sockets on
OFP Device.
