VBB100 BRAKE BLEEDER - OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1)

Remove Master Cylinder cover.

2)

Open Load Sensing Valve on vehicle, if so equipped.

3)

Check the VBB100 Vacuum Gauge and ensure the reading is at or near zero. If
not, check the VBB100 bleed line hose for a blockage. Do not start the VBB100
unless the reading is at or near zero.

4)

Connect VBB100 to a regulated 120 PSIG (Maximum) air supply.

5)

Use VBB100 to remove old brake fluid and sludge from Master Cylinder. Refill
with new brake fluid.

6)

Attach VBB100 bleed line hose to brake bleed fitting on the vehicle.

7)

Let VBB100 run until the Vacuum Gauge indicates 20 In Hg or more.

8)

Open brake bleed fitting on the vehicle and observe brake fluid flow through the
VBB100 bleed line hose. Air bubbles will be seen at first and then a continuous
flow of brake fluid (average time is a few seconds).

9)

Close brake bleed fitting on vehicle when a continuous flow of brake fluid is seen.

10)

Open the brake bleed fitting a second time for one or two seconds and then close
it tightly.

11)

Check level of brake fluid in the Master Cylinder and top off as required.

12)

Repeat Steps 6 through 11 for each wheel.

13)

When complete, top off Master Cylinder with brake fluid and reinstall the cover.

CAUTION: TEST BRAKE SYSTEM. IT IS ALWAYS THE RESPONSIBILITY

OF THE TECHNICIAN TO MAKE SURE THE BRAKE SYSTEM
FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. NEVER ASSUME.

MAINTENANCE

Drain the VBB100 canister when the level of brake fluid reaches one-half full. Never
exceed the line on the label attached to the canister. The Drain Valve is on the rear.

Close Drain Valve when all the brake fluid has been drained.
