PSX-1
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
EXCHANGE
1. Verify that there is enough fluid in the New Fluid Tank and sufficient space in the Used
Fluid Tank for the exchange procedure.
2. Remove the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Cover and submerge Service Hoses into the
reservoir.
3. Remove the used fluid from the Reservoir by pressing the switch labeled Used on the
PSX-1 control panel.
4. Refill the Reservoir by pressing the switch labeled New on the PSX-1 control panel.
Suggestion: Fill new fluid level slightly above steering rack return line.
5. Start the vehicle and turn the steering wheel all the way clockwise and then all the way
counter-clockwise (lock to lock). Turn the vehicle engine off.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 until the desired level of fluid exchange is achieved.
Caution: Do not allow Used Tank to overfill
