Raise vehicle at frame and support axle with jack Work on one side at a time and remove lower shock bolt
View of 2WD rear axle and leaf springs. View of 4WD rear axle and leaf spring, note factory block
Loosen and remove factory u-bolt hardware. Remove lower u-bolt axle plate.
4WD only: Lower axle enough to remove factory block . Install lift block with centering pin toward axle.
