INSTALLATION STEP BY STEP

Select the appropriate location for the “Garage Fan Air system”.
The unit should be installed 12" above the floor area. Side mark the center area of

the exhaust where you plan to install the unit. Then, drill a pilot hole, from the inside

of the garage, through the wall with your 1/4" x 12" drill bit. Finally, by using your 4

1/4" hole saw, cut a hole through the wall from the outside.
From inside the garage, align the Garage Fan Air unit on the wall and mark the

screw locations. Then, drill 1/4" holes and install anchors with your hammer.
Install the flex pipe over the exhaust which is located on the back of the unit and

use the clamp to attach the flex pipe to the unit. Align the unit into the pre-drilled

holes. Then, fasten the unit with screws and anchors supplied, to the inside wall.
Then, from the outside outlet, stretch the flex pipe and cut any excess length. Then,

place the vent hood into the flex pipe. Secure same in the proper position with a

clamp. Then, screw in the vent hood.
Install all screws in a diagonal patern to eliminate twisters and breaking to ensure a

propar fit around the siding. Then, use caulking to properly secure and seal the vent

hood.
Test the unit. Job well done! If you need to contact our service department, you may

do so at 1-800-361-1820.
