PILOT BRACKET REPLACEMENT

DIRECTIONS

1. Turn OFF gas supply going to brooder.
2. Cut gas supply tubing that goes to pilot. Cut tubing

just below compression nut (Detail A).

3. Unscrew nut that holds thermocouple (Detail A).

Remove thermocouple from bracket.

4. Loosen pilot support bracket #8-32 screws & nuts

as shown in Detail A. Remove pilot bracket from
burner plate.

5. Position replacement pilot bracket into hole of

burner plate as shown in Detail B.

6. Fasten replacement pilot bracket to burner plate

with #8-32 screws & nuts as shown in Detail B.
































7. Remove old ferrule from pilot orifice. Discard

ferrule. Attach pilot orifice to gas supply tube
using compression nut & new ferrule supplied.

8. Insert pilot orifice through hole of bracket. Bend

tubing as required. Attach retaining nut to hold
pilot orifice to bracket (Detail C).

9. Bend clamps around thermocouple as shown in

Detail D.

10. Attach thermocouple/clamp assembly to part of

bracket extending below burner plate with #8-32
screws & nuts as shown in Detail E.
IMPORTANT! Make sure thermocouple is exactly
aligned with pilot orifice.

11. Install cover to pilot. (Detail F).
12. Installation complete.

Gas leak testing solution

Screwdriver 1/2"

Wrench

11-32 nut driver

Phillips screwdriver

Remove screws & nuts

holding bracket

Pilot

Compression

Pilot bracket

Burner plate

Unscrew nut.

Remove thermocouple

Cut gas tubing just
below compression
nut

Bend clamps around

thermocouple below

and above collars

Align thermocouple
exactly with pilot.

Attach thermocouple
assembly to bracket
with screws & nuts
as shown.
