Note: It is important to lock out the controller after making setting changes to prevent
tempering.
To lock out the controller:
1. Press to enter setup again
2. Press until 01 appears in lower display
3. Press to exit, the controller is locked out
4.4.2 Using Serial Communications
Your serial communication package (not supplied) may require some settings that are different
from how the M340 was shipped.
To change temperature units:
1. Press and hold for 5 seconds
2. Press until 04 appears in the lower display
3. Press Id.no Device ID number
4. Press to set unit ID number 00 to 99
5. Press bAUd Baurd, Parity, bits selection
6. Press to select according to chart below
7. Press to exit
