Power supply
The scale is generally powered by batteries.
– Push the battery compartment closure
towards “Battery” and open the cover.
– Connect the cable to the holder and
batteries.
– Place the holder in the battery compart-
ment.
– Close the cover.
Note: Please use only the mains unit
supplied or mains units from the seca
range of accessories. Before plugging
the unit into the socket, check whether
the mains voltage marked on the mains
unit matches local mains voltage.
Even if batteries are fitted, the scale
can still be supplied with electricity by
the mains unit.
4. Setting up and aligning the scale
– Place the scale on a level surface.
– Undo the locknuts using the four foot
screws (1).
– Align the scale by undoing the foot
screws. The air bubble in the spirit level
must be right in the centre of the
circle (2).
– Then re-tighten the locknuts (3).
– Ensure that only the feet of the scale are
in contact with the floor. The scale may
not be in contact at any other point.
Important!
The alignment of the base of the scale must be checked and corrected if neces-
sary every time the location of the scale is changed.
