1. Préparer le bloc alimentation secteur :
• Retirer le cache [1] protégeant les
contacts électriques.
• Choisir le type d’embase [2]
correspondant au type de prise
secteur utilisé dans votre pays. Le
clipser sur le bloc alimentation
secteur [3].
2. Charger les batteries du ProMark 700
avant 1ère utilisation :
•
Connecter le jack du câble
adaptateur [4] au câble [5] du bloc alimentation, puis connecter son autre
extrémité au connecteur Alimentation/Charge [6] du ProMark 700.
• Brancher le bloc alimentation [3] à une prise secteur. La charge des batteries
démarre aussitôt. Le voyant Alimentation/Charge [7] clignote brièvement en rouge
toutes les 3 secondes environ.
• Laisser charger pendant quelques heures. La charge est terminée lorsque le voyant
Alimentation/Charge [7] s’éteint.
3. Préparer le ProMark 700 pour faire un levé :
• Monter le ProMark 700 et le carnet de terrain sur
une canne.
• Mettre le ProMark 700 en marche en gardant le
bouton Marche/Arrêt [8] enfoncé pendant environ
2 secondes.
• Vérifier l’état du voyant Alimentation/Charge [7],
qui doit clignoter lentement du rouge en vert
pendant toute l’initialisation du ProMark 700
(environ 18 secondes).
Après initialisation du ProMark 700, le voyant
Alimentation/Charge [7] reste allumé en vert,
indiquant que le ProMark 700 est prêt à fonctionner.
• Démarrer le carnet de terrain et lancer votre logiciel. Une fois la connexion
Bluetooth établie entre le ProMark 700 et le carnet de terrain, le voyant Bluetooth
[9] du ProMark 700 reste allumée fixe en bleu.
4. De temps à autre, regarder le voyant Alimentation/Charge [7] pour vérifier l’état de la
batterie :
•
Vert permanent : la charge restante est supérieure à 20%.
• Vert clignotant : la charge restante est inférieure à 20%.
5. Pour éteindre le ProMark 700, maintenir le bouton Marche/Arrêt [8] enfoncé pendant
2 secondes environ.

1. Get the universal AC/DC adapter ready
for use:
• Remove the cap [1] protecting the
input contacts.
• Choose the input connector [2] that
matches the type of electric outlet
used in your country. Clip it to the
AC/DC adapter [3].
2. Charge the ProMark 700 internal
batteries before first use:
•
Plug the jack end of the power
cable extension [4] to the AC/DC adapter cable [5], then connect its other end to
the Power/Data connector [6] on the ProMark 700.
• Plug the AC/DC adapter [3] to an electric outlet. Battery charging starts
immediately. The Power/Charging LED [7] starts flashing red at a rate of about 3
seconds.
• Let the batteries charge for a few hours. Charging ends when the Power/Charging
LED [7] goes out.
3. Get the ProMark 700 ready for a survey job:
• Mount the ProMark 700 and data collector on a
range pole.
• Turn on the ProMark 700 by holding the Power
button [8] depressed for about 2 seconds.
• Check the status of the Power/Charging LED [7],
which should blink red and green slowly while the
ProMark 700 is being initialized (this takes about
18 seconds).
After the ProMark 700 has initialized, the Power/
Charging LED [7] turns solid green, meaning the
ProMark 700 is ready for use.
• Turn on the data collector and run your field software. When a Bluetooth connection
is established between the ProMark 700 and the data collector, the Bluetooth LED
[9] on the ProMark 700 will turn solid blue.
4. Now and again, take a look at the Power/Charging LED [7] to check the battery status:
• Solid green: remaining charge is greater than 20%.
• Blinking green: remaining charge is less than 20%.
5. To turn off the ProMark 700, hold the Power button [8] depressed for about 2 seconds.

CAUTION: This product contains two rechargeable Li-ion batteries with a capacity of
2.5 Ah each. Please refer to the regulations in force in your country concerning the use and
transportation of Li-ion batteries. These regulations shall apply to the entire receiver as the
batteries are non-removable by the end user. Battery replacement can only be performed
by Regional Service Centers or Authorized Service Provider personnel.
