Compound Miter Saw 10 inch Sliding - 70711
Saw does not cut all the way through.
If the saw is not cutting all the way through, you can adjust the default depth by turning a
set screw located on the left side of the motor housing. The set screw is held tight by a
small nut. Loosen the nut and insert an Allen wrench in the top of the set screw. Turn
the set screw 1 turn counter-clockwise. Make a test cut to see if the depth is correct.
Repeat as needed. Do NOT over-adjust this set screw or it will allow the blade to cut into
base of the saw. Be sure the blue thumb screw next to it is adjusted to the desired depth
as well.
