4.2. FUNCTION KEY DESCRIPTION
4.2.1. °C/°F key
The temperature’s measuring unit setting is available by pushing °C/°F key, °C Celsius
degree and °F Fahrenheit degree can be shown cyclically when pressing “°C / °F” key.
°C/°F key is inoperative if “HOLD” function is active

The formula that links Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees are:

so:

0 °C are equal to 32 °F,

100 °C are equal to 212 °F.


4.2.2. TYPE key
The TYPE key permits to set the type of external probe (K or J) to be connected to the
meter. Cyclically the K and J settings are displayed. The TYPE key is inoperative if the
“HOLD” and “MAX MIN” functions are active. For setting of offset adjustment (see § ) this
key takes the function of arrow key “

4.2.3. MAX MIN key
By pushing MAX MIN key the parameter’s maximum, minimum and average values are
measured and they can be shown cyclically when pressing MAX MIN key. The display
shows the symbol linked to the selected function: The symbol “MAX” for maximum value,
“MIN” for minimum value and “AVG” for average value. On the main display the Max, Min
or AVG values are displayed and dynamically updated while the real time value of
temperature is displayed on the secondary display.
Push MAX MIN key for some seconds to quit this mode. MIN MAX key is inoperative if
“HOLD” function is activated.
