In the lower row, you’ll find the button to switch modes between the clock/time (displays
the time of day in the display), remote control, timer (activates the interesting functions
of the battery grip), as well as a separate button to switch the blue display light on or off.
Another important switch (not pictured here) is on the right side of the grip, used to
switch the grip on or off.

How-to: Time-lapse photography

The button to switch between clock, remote control and timer has to be on the very right
position, as shown in the photo.

For my example, I will configure the unit to shoot only one image, after a timer of 10
hours 20 minutes and 31 seconds, and leave the shutter open for 30 hours (whatever
this might be useful for).

Then pres

s “SET” once, a clock will be displayed indicating that the timer is now to be

configured. The timer is used to delay each image to the image before, just like a self
timer in the camera does.

The left “00″ will be blinking when you entered the timer configuration. Depending on the
time to be configured, you now press the H.ADJ and L.ADJ buttons to configure the
hours, or continue pressing “SET” to switch to the minutes or seconds to be configured.

When the timer configuration is finished, pressing “SET” will switch the display to the
shutter “menu”.
