16. GUARANTEE
Please read the instructions contained in this manual on the safe, correct use of the device and keep the original receipt and completed
guarantee, as they must be shown to the retailer where the purchase was made, should repairs under guarantee be required.
16.1. TERMS OF THE GUARANTEE
SUOMY® reserves the right not to repair the device when under guarantee if this information has been deleted, amended or is illegible, or the
original receipt, or completed guarantee is missing.
Faults arising within 2 (two) years from the purchase date shown on the receipt are covered by this guarantee. On verification of the fault
SUOMY® will repair or replace the product through its distribution network.
SUOMY® will provide all materials and labour required to correct the identified fault, except in the situations outlined in the following section,
Exclusions & Limitations of Cover.
EXCLUSIONS & LIMITATIONS OF COVER
This guarantee only covers material and manufacturing faults for the SCS 3LOGY device. Any cause other than the aforementioned faults will
not be covered by the guarantee, including but not limited to:
• Faults or damage due to use of the product other than the normal use outlined in this manual.
• Damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with normal operation, according to the instructions for the use and maintenance of the
product.
• Carelessness and normal wear and tear of internal and external parts.
• Any accidental damage.
• Any change or modification made to the helmet or system by the user or third parties.
• Variation in colour or damage caused by exposure to harmful chemical products.
• Use of incompatible accessories which are not part of the SCS 3LOGY product range.
• Moreover, the guarantee does not cover product faults arising from accidents, modifications or adaptations, causes of force majeure, or damage
due to contact with liquids.
• Internal helmet parts are not and cannot be waterproof, and any unsuitable exposure to rain, humidity, spillage from food or other liquids can
damage the electronics of the SCS 3LOGY system, for which SUOMY® cannot be held responsible.
• Consumable parts which are subject to wear and tear are excluded from the guarantee, such as the rechargeable battery and connection
cables for the various parts of the SUOMY® SCS 3LOGY kit.
• As the telephone operating systems are not provided by SUOMY® the company cannot be held responsible for their operation, availability, cover,
services or range.
