Please read these instructions before installation and keep or give to the customer for future reference.

1. General:

The LEDMF50FL, LEDMF70FL and LEDMF100FL are high efficiency LED floodlights. They are suitable for
a wide range of outdoor locations: gardens, entrances, garages, outdoor parking areas etc. and can be
used to replace halogen, HID and other floodlights.

2. Location Selection:

• Suitable for outdoor use and for installation on walls and on the ground.
• Suitable for a wide range of locations: gardens, entrances, garages, outdoor parking areas etc.
• Check the surface and fittings will hold the weight of the product.
• Can be installed on surfaces of normal flammability e.g wood, plasterboard, brickwork
and other masonry.
• Do not install on flammable surfaces such plastics.
• Do not install on conductive or damp surfaces.
• Allow at least 0.5m between the luminaire and any illuminated surface.
• Allow plenty of space around the luminaire for air circulation.
• The luminaire is designed for connection to fixed wiring and must be connected to a suitable circuit
protected by an MCB or fuse.

3. Installation:

We recommend that this unit be fitted by a qualified electrician.
Install in accordance to current wiring and building regulations.
Please read the instructions carefully. If in any doubt contact the Timeguard Helpline.

• Important: Switch off mains before commencing work.
• Choose the location taking into account the points above.
• Using the mounting bracket as a template mark the fixing points and drill holes suitable for the chosen
fittings (not supplied).
• Fit the lamp to the selected surface.
• Connect the supplied wire to the terminals in a junction box with the required IP rating and connect the
incoming mains to the terminals in the junction box. Make sure the wire polarities are maintained.

• Reconnect the mains power to test the luminaire.
• Adjust the angle of the luminaire so that it illuminates the required area and then tighten the fastenings
holding the bracket to the luminaire body.
