Description

Prints the subsequent text with the elite pitch (12 characters/inch).

The character spacing is 16 dots (=203 dots/12 characters).

If the character width is 16 dots or less, the character spacing is specified as 16 minus the character width.

If the character width exceeds 16 dots, the character spacing is specified as the character width.

(The spacing between characters is 0 dot.)

In this case, the pitch does not exactly equal the elite pitch.

With double-width characters, the character spacing is doubled (32 dots).

With half-width characters, the character spacing is halved (8 dots).

When the character spacing is changed with ESC SP, the setting is updated.

This command is invalid when proportional pitch is selected.

In outline fonts, the spacing between characters is 0 dot.
