5. When the installation is completed and the
message "Click Restart to finish installing the
software" is displayed, click [Restart].
Your Macintosh

computer is restarted.
The printer driver installation is completed.
6. After restarting the computer, connect the
USB cable to the machine.
7. Connect the USB cable to the USB port of
your Macintosh
®
computer.
Press ON/OFF button of the machine to
turn on the power.

Double click the drive where Mac OS
®
X is installed, and click of [Applications]-
[Utilities]-[Printer Setup Utility]. Then click [Add].

Click [Apple menu]-[System Preferences], and click [Print & Fax].

Choose USB at the top of the screen.
Choose “PT-XXXX” from the list and click [Add] again to add the printer to the [Printer
List].

Choose “Brother PT-XXXX” from the list and click [Add] / to add the printer to the
[Printer List] / [Print & Fax].
10. When the screen returns to [Printer List] / [Print
& Fax] screen, check to make sure the
"PT-XXXX" is added, and close [Printer List] /
[Print & Fax] screen.
Now you can use the machine.
Note : Please remove the caution label before
connecting the USB cable.

Connect to P-touch
USB port.
Connect to personal
computer USB port.
