Directional Vector Control (DVC™) — Only from Atlantic!
This innovative control directs the midrange output of the

tweeter up or down electronically, for precise localization
without the mechanical and acoustic compromises of a
“pivoting” tweeter assembly.

Boundary Compensation control
Adjusts the upper bass/lower midrange output of the

speaker to compensate for the changes in tonality that
occur when a speaker is placed very close to a wall/ceiling
intersection.

High Frequency level control
Adjusts the tweeter level to adapt the speaker’s sound to

‘live,’ normal, or ‘dead’ acoustic environments

Some nineteen years ago, Atlantic Technology was
instrumental in bringing about the Home Theater/
Surround Sound revolution. Since then our product
offerings have continued to evolve and change as
multi-channel sound systems have become more
sophisticated.
Visually integrating six or more high performance
speakers in a room is one of the biggest challenges of
home entertainment. Hence the popularity of in-wall
and in-ceiling speakers. The System 7 and System 14
prove that the great Atlantic Technology sound can be
enjoyed with virtually no impact on your home’s décor.
We started with a blank sheet of paper with these
speakers and re-thought all of the old assumptions as
to what an in-wall speaker could and could not do. The
first thing we did was reject the notion that an in-wall
speaker must be held to a lower acoustic standard
than the best free-standing speakers. To that end,
instead of using cheap, resonant-prone plastic baffles
like virtually all other in-wall speakers, we’ve made our
baffles out of strong, resonant-resistant MDF (medium
density fiberboard). MDF provides a solid footing for
the woofer and tweeter, ensuring that the speaker’s
acoustic energy is launched cleanly into the listening
area, instead of being dissipated as panel vibration.
Both models feature Atlantic’s exclusive Low
Resonance Tweeter (LRT™). This advanced tweeter
handles a greater portion of the sound spectrum than
ordinary tweeters, delivering much broader midrange
dispersion than conventional in-walls.
We didn’t stop there, however. The System 7 and 14
have three very unique controls to optimize their sound
and maximize their placement flexibility:
