Settings
Listen to an example – Plays a short
demonstration of speech synthesis.
MOUSE/TRACKPAD
Pointer speed – Allows you to set the
pointer speed.
Backup & reset
This menu allows you to back up and erase
your data.
BACKUP & RESTORE
Backup my data – Checkmark to backup
application data, Wi-Fi passwords, and
other settings to Google servers.
Backup account – Allows you to select
the account to backup.
Automatic restore – Checkmark to allow
the device to automatically restore backed
up settings and data when an application is
reinstalled on the device.
PERSONAL DATA
Factory data reset – Allows you to erase
all of the data on the phone. Read the
warning, then tap Reset phone at the
bottom of the screen and Erase everything
to confirm.
SYSTEM
The System section allows you to manage
various system settings.
Date & time
This menu allows you to manage your date
and time formats.
Automatic date & time – Checkmark to
use the network provided values.
Automatic time zone – Checkmark to use
the network provided time zone information.
Set date – Allows you to set your own
date (if your don’t checkmark the automatic
setting).
Set time – Allows you to set your own
time (if you don’t checkmark the automatic
setting).
Select time zone – Allows you to set your
own time zone (if you don’t checkmark the
automatic setting).
Use 24-hour format – Checkmark to
display the time using the 24-hour time
format (for example, 13:00 instead of 1:00
pm).
Select date format – Allows you to set the
format for displaying dates.
