Settings
Unknown sources – Checkmark to allow
installation of non-Play Store applications.
CREDENTIAL STORAGE
Trusted credentials – Allows applications
to access your phone’s encrypted store of
secure certificates, related passwords and
other credentials. The screen has a System
tab and a User tab. Credential storage is
used to establish some kinds of VPN and
Wi-Fi connections. This setting is dimmed if
you have not set a password to secure your
credential storage.
Install from storage – Allows you to
install a secure certificate from a microSD
card.
Clear credentials – Allows you to
delete all secure certificates and related
credentials and erase the secure storage’s
own password. You are prompted to confirm
you want to clear this data.
Language & input
Use the Language & input menu to select
the language for the text on your phone and
for configuring the on-screen keyboard. You
can also manage your language dictionary for
personal words that you’ve added.
Language – Allows you to set the language
to use on your device.
Spelling correction – Checkmark to allow
spelling corrections. Tap
to set the
type of correction.
Personal dictionary – Displays a list of
the personal words that you’ve added that
are not in the standard dictionary.
KEYBOARD & INPUT METHODS
Default – Allows you to choose the default
keyboard to use when entering text.
Android keyboard – Tap to change the
Android keyboard settings.
Input languages: Allows you to select
the input languages.
Auto-capitalization: Capitalizes the first
letter of every sentence automatically.
Vibrate on keypress: Vibrates every time a
key is pressed.
Sound on keypress: A sound is played
every time a key is pressed.
Popup on keypress: Allows the pressed
key to pop up.
Show settings key: Displays the settings
key on the keyboard.
