Ice and Water Dispenser
* Depending on the model, some of the
following functions may not be available.
CAUTION
Keep children away from the dispenser.
Children may play with or damage the
controls.

Using the Dispenser
To dispense cold water, set the ‘water’ type y
by pressing the Water/Ice Select switch and
push on the Dispenser switch with a glass.
To dispense cubed ice, set the ‘cubed’ type
y
by pressing the Water/Ice Select switch and
push on the Dispenser switch with a glass.
To dispense crushed ice, set the ‘crushed’
y
type by pressing the Water/Ice Select switch
and push on the Dispenser switch with a
glass.
NOTE
If discolored ice is dispensed, check the y
water filter and water supply. If the problem
continues, contact a qualified service center.
Do not use the ice or water until the problem
is corrected.
The dispenser will not operate when either
y
of the refrigerator doors are open.
If dispensing water or ice into a container
y
with a small opening, place it as close to the
dispenser as possible.
Some dripping may occur after dispensing.
y
Hold your cup beneath the dispenser for a
few seconds after dispensing to catch all of
the drops.

CAUTION
Throw away the first few batches of ice
(about 24 cubes). This is also necessary
if the refrigerator has not been used for
a long time.
Locking the Dispenser
Touch and hold the Lock button for 3 seconds
to lock the dispenser and all the control display
functions. Follow the same instructions to
unlock.
Cleaning the Dispenser Stand
1 Press down on either of the front corners
to remove the stand.
2 Wipe out dirty areas with a clean cloth.
