NOTIFICATION SETTINGS
Notifications Checkmark this setting to allow your phone to receive a
notification in the Status Bar whenever you receive a new message.
Notification sound Opens a dialog box where you can select the ringtone
to sound when you receive new message notifications.
Vibrate Opens a dialog box to set the phone vibration setting when you
receive a new message notification.
New message popup A popup will be shown when the messages are
received.
EMERGENCY ALERTS SETTINGS
These are the settings associated with Commercial Mobile Alert System.
Presidential alert: This setting allows presidential alert to be always
presented. This setting is greyed-out because it cannot be changed.
Extreme alert: Checkmark this setting so that Extreme alerts are always
presented.
Severe alert: Checkmark this setting so that Severe alerts are always
presented.
AMBER alert: Checkmark this setting so that AMBER alerts are always
presented.
Alert reminder: Allows you to select how often you want to be reminded
when notified of an alert.
How to select the type of keyboard you want
1. Open the Notifications panel and touch Select input method.
2. Choose between Google voice typing, LG Keyboard, or Swype.
You will now be able to enter text using the new keyboard.
