6.2.2 Set Directional Keys
To access and use these shortcuts,
press the corresponding Directional
Key while in Standby mode.
To configure these Directional Key
shortcuts, follow the instructions
below:
1. Open the flip and press
[ MENU ] .
2. Press Settings & Tools .
3. Press Phone Settings .
4. Press Set Shortcuts .
5. Press Set Directional Keys .
6. Use the Directional Key
to scroll to a shortcut key you
want to set and press

Up Directional key/ Left
Directional key/ Down
Directional key
7. Set the menu you want to be
accessed by the selected
Directional Key and press
.
6.2.3 Set QwertyShortcut
This Shortcut allows you to initiate
either a Contact Search, New TXT
Message or New Note by simply
pressing any key on the internal
Qwerty keypad.
To configure the desired Qwerty
shortcut function, follow the
instructions below:
1. Open the flip and press

2. Press Settings & Tools .
3. Press Phone Settings .
4. Press Set Shortcuts .
5. Press Set QwertyShortcut .
6. Use the Directional Key to
scroll to a setting, then press .
