Downloading your owned movie
You can download your purchased movies
to the internal hard disk drive on the player,
so that you can watch downloaded movies
without disturbance caused by network
congestion.
1. Use I/i to select the [My Vudu] in the
Vudu Home, and press ENTER ( ).
2. Use I/i to select the [My Movies] or [My
TV Shows], and press ENTER ( ).
3. Use U/u to select a movie or TV show, and
press ENTER ( ).
The [MOVIE DETAILS] or [EPISODE DETAILS]
screen appears on the screen.
4. Use U/u to select [Add SD/HD/HDX for
Download], and press ENTER ( ).
The downloading status is displayed under
the movie poster.
You can watch other movie or TV show
while downloading.
NOTE
• If you exit the Vudu menu while downloading,
it will be temporarily stopped. The downloading
resumes when you access the Vudu again.
• Rental videos are not available for download.
Downloads are queued and downloaded in
order.
• Download time depends on available
bandwidth.
• Formatting will delete any Vudu downloaded
content (page 33).
Watching downloaded movie
1. Use I/i to select the [My Vudu] in the
Vudu Home, and press ENTER ( ).
2. Use I/i to select the [My Movies] or [My
TV Shows], and press ENTER ( ).
3. Use U/u to select a movie or TV show, and
press ENTER ( ).
The [MOVIE DETAILS] screen appears on the
screen.
4. Use U/u to select [Watch SD/HD/HDX], and
press ENTER ( ).
NOTE
• The playback operations are same as the
operations of streaming playback. Refer to page
66-67 for more detail.
• Downloaded movies and TV shows can only be
played from Vudu menu.
• Playback of a downloaded movie requires an
Internet connection.
Deleting a downloaded movie
1. Use I/i to select the [My Vudu] in the
Vudu Home, and press ENTER ( ).
2. Use I/i to select the [My Movies] or [My
TV Shows], and press ENTER ( ).
3. Use U/u to select a movie or TV show, and
press ENTER ( ).
The [MOVIE DETAILS] or [EPISODE DETAILS]
screen appears on the screen.
4. Use U/u to select [Manage Download], and
press ENTER ( ).
5. Use U/u to select [Delete SD/HD/HDX from
Disc], and press ENTER ( ).
Your movie or TV show will be deleted from
the internal hard disk drive.
