In this example, only a single vdisk is required by the storage pool entry. The names are kept
the same across the storage pool entry, the FC zone, the host entry on the array, and the
vdisk. This approach supports a strong correlation of the resources in the different tools. It is
also possible to define a storage pool entry with multiple LUNs. In this case, the naming of
the vdisk could follow a pattern of a common prefix (for example, e10_vc_w2k_1, 2, 3, 4,
and so on). HP recommends selecting a naming convention, and then following that pattern
across all the tools.

Correcting a checksum error

If power is removed from the server during the power on sequence, an invalid checksum error
might occur in the Fibre Channel HBA firmware. If this error occurs, the following message appears
during server power up:
