Connecting an External Display
You can connect an external display device to your OmniBook. For example, you
can connect a VGA projection panel, a VGA display, a television, or an SVHS VCR.
The OmniBook supports either PAL or NTSC video modes when connected to a
television.
In this section you’ll learn how to
• Connect to a VGA, SVGA, or XGA monitor.
• Change the display type.
• Switch between the internal and an external display.
• Connect to a television or VCR.
• Change the television type.
• Connect to an SVHS device.
To connect an external monitor
1. Make sure the external monitor supports VGA, super VGA, or XGA format.
2. Plug the VGA cable from the external display into the SVGA-out connector at
the back of the OmniBook.
