• Name: SLPR numbers and SLPR names
• Cache (Num. of CLPRs): Cache capacity and the number of CLPRs that each SLPR provides.
• Num of PGs: Number of parity groups that each SLPR has.
• Num of Ports: Number of ports that each SLPR has.
• Status: If SLPR has been edited, the status of the SLPR is displayed on the right-most column

of the list.

Change: is shown if the information for SLPR, for example, SLPR name, has been changed.

Delete: is shown if SLPR has been deleted.

The Apply button applies settings in the Partition Definition window.

The Cancel button cancels the settings that are input or selected, and restores the settings to

the initial status.

The Storage Management Logical Partition Window

When you open the Partition Definition window by using the Remote Web Console main window, the tree

and the resource list are displayed. SLPRs which this subsystem provides are displayed under the tree.
If you select SLPR from the tree, Partition Definition window displays the information for SLPR that

is selected.

on page 28 shows an example of Partition Definition window when SLPR is selected.

When an SLPR is selected from a tree, the Partition Definition window presents:

Tree: displays the SLPRs and CLPRs in the subsystem. The SLPR number and SLPR name are
displayed on the right of the SLPR icon ( ). The CLPR number and CLPR name are displayed
on the right of the CLPR icon ( ).
