With T0682 H02 AAN and later, you can also use the

Physical Configuration Tool

to set the Rack

Name and Rack Offset values in a consistent manner throughout the system while you create a
physical view of your modular racks.

Synchronize FIR Files to Other Switches

Synchronizes the FRU information record (FIR) files of the X and Y fabric processor switches.

NOTE:

This action is only valid from Group 100; it will fail on VIO Modules in NonStop

BladeSystem NB54000c and NB56000c or S-series.

Write LCD Line

Allows you to edit the text displayed by the VIO enclosure’s LCD. You can modify lines 9 through
15 with this action.

Value

The battery is not installed.

Absent

The battery is fully charged

Charged

The battery is in the process of being charged.

Charging

The battery cannot supply power and cannot be charged, possibly because the Disable Battery
action has been performed. You should disable a battery before removal.

Disabled

The battery needs recharging or replacement.

Discharged

The system is currently drawing power from the battery.

Discharging

The battery can accept a charge and is ready to supply power if the AC power is unavailable.

Enabled

Check the battery for alarms. If the condition persists, contact your service provider.

Fault

The battery is not responding, and its state cannot be determined.

Unknown

Compare State (CLIM, SAS Disk Enclosure, CLIM SAS Card, and CLIM FC Card)

Same

Available on H06.20/J06.09 and later SUTs, the current version is either newer or older than
the default version, but is compatible with the default version.

The current version is newer than the default version.
OSM version T0682 H02 ACJ (and later) supports the option of flagging Up-rev firmware on
CLIM and SAS Disk Enclosure components as a problem attribute that is propagated up to
parent objects in the OSM Service Connection. For information on how configure this option
