NOTE:

Using Remove Peer Volumes does not display volumes in the Importing state because

they cannot be removed.

To remove peer volumes:

1.

Select Peer Motion in the Manager Pane.

2.

In the Common Actions panel, click Remove Peer Volumes to open the Remove Peer Volumes
dialog box.

3.

Select the Select to also delete checkbox if you want to delete any listed volumes currently
exported to a host and listed volumes that are part of a volume set. If this checkbox is selected,
a warning dialog displays. Click Delete to remove the volumes.

4.

Click OK.

Post Migration Cleanup

The Post Migration Cleanup feature does the following:

Unexport all Peer Motion-migrated volumes from the migration host.

Remove the VLUNs associated with the volumes being unexported.

Remove the migration host from the source system.

NOTE:

The migration host is an interim host created by the Peer Motion process. Therefore,

migration cleanup is not complete until the migration host is removed from the source system.

NOTE:

When migrating volumes using Single Volume Migration, the Post Migration Cleanup

will not be removing source VLUN exports as certain hosts such as Linux may not react well unless
additional configuration is in place. On the other hand, with hosts such as Windows, the source
VLUN exports can be safely removed after the Post Migration Cleanup.
