Tips for Preparing Programs

The License attribute of a privileged program. Note that a warning message is
displayed if the license is revoked:

The PROGID setting, if the user executing the PREPARE command is not the
owner of the file, the owner’s manager or SUPER.SUPER.
To preserve these attributes, use a licensed Escort CI to prepare the programs. To
create this special Escort CI, perform the following steps:

Note that you can create this licensed Escort CI as a separate object (ESCORTP for
example) residing in the AutoTMF product subvolume, and use it exclusively to
prepare programs.
If your site is not licensed to run NonStop SQL, contact HP to request a copy of the
privileged ESCORT CI.
Tips for Preparing Programs
If you test AutoTMF on a newly installed application, or on an application duplicated
from your test system or production system, you should fully test that application
before preparing the object files.
Newly installed applications or duplicated applications often fail because of errors in
the PATHWAY configuration, incorrect ASSIGNs and DEFINEs, bad user-library
pointers, and similar considerations. If you eliminate these sources of error before
