NOTE:

Enabling and disabling ports takes effect immediately after clicking the

Enable/Disable buttons.

Disable: Click Disable to disable a port.

Enable: Click Enable to enable a port.

Chassis panel (system)

The Chassis panel displays information about the DPM, such serial number and hardware versions.
You can also set the description of the DPM and add a location comment. The DPM can also be
rebooted from the Chassis panel.

Global panel (system)

The Global panel allows the maximum frame size (MTU) of the unit to be set. The max frame size
should be set to the lowest MTU of all devices in the fabric.

You can also specify the Rank of the DPM, which will effect the WWPN numbering of the DPM ports
during initial configuration. See also the “

Modify factory command

” on page 41. Rank can be set to

Primary or Secondary.

Ethernet panel (system)

The Ethernet panel for the System function shows Ethernet configuration information for the Data Path
Module. To view, click the top-level icon in the tree hierarchy on the left side, and then click Ethernet.
