Conceal all secondary volumes from the backup server.

To conceal all secondary volumes from the backup server, execute the

drmdevctl

command

on the backup server.

BKServer > drmdevctl -detach

Use the Windows disk management functionality or a RAID Manager command to confirm that
the secondary volumes are concealed.

The following example, uses the

inqraid

command of RAID Manager:

BKServer >echo hd0-1 | inqraid -CLI

Create backup catalogs for all generations.

Create a backup catalog by executing the backup command on the file server or database server.
Repeat the backup command for the number of generations.

When the backup is of a file system:

Create a mount point directory batch definition file that describes mount points of file systems
to be backed up. In this example, Application-Agent-installation-directory

\DRM\conf\fs\

mp_on_dg01.dat

is assumed as a mount point directory batch definition file.
