AI Overclocking
This feature allows convenient overclocking up to 30% (depending on the installed
CPU and DRAM) to enhance system performance while still maintaining system
stability. See page 2-16 to set the BIOS items for overclocking.
Extreme Overclocking
The P4P800S offers robust overclocking options to maximize your system
performance. Overclocking features include: a flexible CPU core voltage
adjustment in 0.025V increments over defaults, the SFS (Stepless Frequency
Selection) feature, an adjustable FSB/DDR ratio with a fixed AGP/PCI frequency
and the ASUS C.P.R. (CPU Parameter Recall).
ASUS EZ Flash BIOS
With the ASUS EZ Flash, you can easily update the system BIOS even before
loading the operating system. No need to use a DOS-based utility or boot from a
floppy disk. See page 2-5.
ASUS MyLogo2
This new feature present in the motherboard allows you to personalize and add
style to your system with customizable boot logos. The ASUS MyLogo2 is
automatically installed when you install the ASUS Update utility from Utilities menu
in the support CD. See pages 2-32, page 3-4.
CrashFree BIOS 2
CrashFree BIOS 2 allows users to restore BIOS data from a floppy diskette or
recovery CD when BIOS code and data are corrupted during upgrade or when
invaded by a virus. ASUS motherboards now enable users to enjoy this protection
feature without the need to pay for an optional ROM. See page 2-6.
C.P.R. (CPU Parameter Recall)
The C.P.R. feature of the motherboard BIOS allows automatic resetting to the
BIOS previous setting in case the system hangs due to overclocking. When the
system hangs due to overclocking failure, C.P.R. eliminates the need to open the
system chassis and clear the CMOS data. Simply restart the system and the BIOS
would show the previous CPU parameter settings. See page 1-19.
ASUS Instant Music Lite
This unique feature allows you to playback audio files even before entering the
operating system. Just press the ASUS Instant Music Lite special function keys
and enjoy the music! See pages 2-26, 3-5.
