F-BODY BATTERY MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS
PART# BR001
Required Tools:
• 3/8" ratchet with 9/16" and 3/8" socket
• 9/16" wrench
• 1/2" wrench
• Drill with 1/8" and 3/8" drill bit
Installation:
1. Remove the passenger side rear plastic cover using a coin to turn the plastic screws.
2. Remove the jack and spare tire from the wheel well.
3. Position the BMR Battery mount in the wheel well in such a way that the battery mounting tabs rest on
the frame rail. Mark the holes for drilling.
4. Drill a 1/8" starter hole at each upper mark. Reposition the battery mount and insert the self-tapping
bolts into the holes. Tighten.
5. Locate the other two mounting holes down in the well. Using the holes in the battery mount as a guide,
drill two 3/8" holes through the well.
6. Insert the supplied bolts, washers and lock nuts. Tighten.
