TCC006, TCC007, TCC009, TCC010, TCC011, TCC012, TCC013, TCC014, TCC021 – 1993-2002 F-BODY

NOTE: This product is designed to be used with aftermarket torque arms that utilize a one-piece polyurethane mounting
bushing. It may also be used with the stock torque arm if an Energy Suspension torque arm bushing is used.

1. Lift vehicle and support with stands. The front may be supported under the frame rails but the rear should be supported

under the rear end to simplify the installation.

2. Using a 18mm socket, remove the transmission-mounting nut. Support the transmission with a hydraulic jack or jack stand

then remove the four 15mm bolts that hold the transmission cross member in place. Remove the cross member.

3. Locate the torque arm mount attached to the rear of the transmission. Using a 13mm socket, remove the torque arm

mounting bolts. Once removed, the two halves of the clamshell should separate and the mount can be removed. NOTE: On
manual transmissions, it is necessary to lower the transmission in order to remove this mount.

4. Position the BMR crossmember in place and slide the BMR clamshell over the bushing on the torque arm. Insert the

aluminum spacer between the bushing and the cross member mounting plate. Select the desired mounting position on the
cross member and insert all 4 bolts and nuts. Tighten.

5. Insert all 4 crossmember mounting bolts and torque to 48 ft/lbs.
6. Lower vehicle.

Setting torque arm mounting position: The BMR torque arm cross member is designed with multiple torque arm mounts allowing you
to fine tune your suspension for optimal traction. By moving the front torque arm mount up or down, the suspensions “instant center”
or “lift position” can be optimized. Due to varying suspension combinations, ride heights and weight variations, there is not a
universal “ideal” setup. It is best to start from the OE location and adjust up or down until optimal results are achieved.
