Installing the Light Kit
/ Glass Bowl
CAUTION- To reduce the risk of
electrical shock, disconnect the electrical
supply circuit to the fan before installing
light kit
.
1. Remove the three mounting screws
on the black bracket below the fan motor
(Figure 13).

2. Feed the Blue and White wires
labeled "For Light Kit Connection" from
the fan motor through the center hole of
the light kit plate.
3. Secure the light kit plate to the black
bracket using the three screws that were
removed in step 1.
4. Connect the Blue wire from the fan
motor to the Black wire from the light kit
by connecting the molded adaptor plug;
connect the White wire from the fan
motor to the White wire from the light
kit by connecting the molded adaptor
plug.
Carefully and neatly tuck the wires
connections into the light kit (Figure 14).

5. Remove the three mounting screws
and lockwashers from the threaded
screw holes on the light kit plate as
shown on Figure 13.
6. Align the three holes on the light kit
with three screws on the light kit plate
and place the light kit over the three
screws , secure the light kit to the light
kit plate using three mounting screws
and lockwashers that were removed in
step 5 (Figure 15).

7. Remove the hex nut and the rubber
washer from the threaded pipe of the
light kit (Figure 15).
8. With power off , install the light bulbs
(Max. 40w , provided) into the sockets
(Figure 15).
9. Position the glass bowl over the
threaded pipe and secure with rubber
washer and hex nut that were removed in
step 7.
10. Install the bottom cover and finial to
the threaded pipe and finger tight (Figure
16).
