9. The next step is to install the passenger side airspring frame plate. This plate also locates the frame end
of the panhard bar. It is indexed by the tailpipe hangar holes in the framerail.
10. The additional upper airspring bracket holes are then marked and drilled to 7/16”
11. Attach the upper airspring bracket using [4] 7/16” x 1 1/4 bolts and nyloc nuts. If you ARE NOT
installing a C notch, the legs of the bracket will point up. If you ARE installing a C notch, the legs will point
down. This will set the proper ride height for the vehicle.
12. Install the drivers side upper airspring frame plate and mounting bracket. It too is indexed by existing
frame holes and the remaininf mounting holes will be drilled to 7/16”.
13. Install the panhard bar axle bracket onto the drivers side shock bracket. This is accomplished by
removing the shock bolt, sliding the bracket down over the lower shock bracket and re-attaching the shock
bolt.
14. The panhard bar is then installed between the panhard bar brackets. Adjust the length until the
rearend is centered between the framerails.
15. Install shocks. If no C notch is used, the oem lower shock mount is used with our shorter shock
absorber. If a C notch is used, the lower shock extender brackets that come with the C notch kit are used
with our shorter shock.
16. Install airsprings and airlines and inflate.
