60-64 Galaxie Installation Instructions

***Must Use RideTech Shock Kit***

1. Apply thread sealant to a straight
air fitting and screw it into the top of
the air spring.

2. Place the upper cup bracket on
top of the air spring and secure with
two nyloc nuts and flat washers.

3. Thread the 6” stud into the nut in
the bottom of the cup.

4. Place the air spring assembly into
the coil spring pocket with the stud
sticking through the factory shock
hole. The air fitting hole in the cup
will face towards the ball joint.
Secure with 7/16” Nylok and flat
washer.

Note: The airline must also be routed
at this time.

5. Place the lower air spring plate on
top of the lower arm. The front outer
hole in the plate will align with a hole
in the lower arm. Drop a 3/8” x 1 ¼”
bolt through the hole and secure it
with a nyloc nut and 2 flat washers.
The other 3 holes must be drilled.

6. Reattach the lower arm to the
spindle.

7. Fasten the air spring to the lower
arm using a 3/8” x 3/4" bolt, lock
washer and flat washer.

8. Driving height on this air spring is
approximately 5” tall, but will vary to
driver preference.

9. Check air spring clearance through full suspension
travel to ensure that it does not rub on anything at a
anytime. This will cause air spring failure and is
not warrantable.
