7. Attach the shock to the upper mount
using the supplied hardware.

8. Slide the lower shock stud through
shock, then install the aluminum
spacer. The step on the spacer will
face the lower arm. Fasten the
assembly with the supplied nut.

Note: These Strong Arms are used on
trucks of model years 1963-1987.
Throughout these years there are 3
different ball joints used. Some are
very similar. Make sure you have to
the correct ball joint for the year spindle
you are using.

9. Bolt the lower Strong Arm to the
frame using the oem fasteners. Make
sure to align the protrusion in the frame
with the dimple in the cross shaft.

10. Fasten the air spring to the lower
control arm using a 3/8” x 3/4" bolt.

11. Reattach the spindle, tie rod, and
sway bar. Refer to factory service
manual for proper assembly
procedures. Our lower arm is
designed to be use with our MuscleBar
sway bar. Part # 11369100

12. Attach the upper Strong Arm to the
frame and spindle.

13. Double check airline, brake line,
shock and tire clearances. If needed,
we have supplied a bump stop that can
be used if the vehicle is to low. You
will need to make a bump stop spacer
to achieve proper height. It is the final
responsibility of the installer to
make sure nothing rubs on the air
spring.
This is not a warrantable
situation.

14. Driving height on this air spring
should be approximately 5 ½” tall.
