Installation Instructions

Note: Upper shock bracket must be installed before air springs.

1. The upper shock mount will be
bolted to the frame just behind the
upper control arm. The large hole in
the bracket will align with an equal
size hole in the frame. Using the
bracket as a template, drill the holes
with a 3/8” bit. Make sure the lower
tab is against the bottom of the
frame.
Use the 3/8” x 1 ¼” bolts,
Nylok nuts and flat washers to secure
the bracket to the frame.

2. It may be necessary to grind the
corner of the brake line bracket to
clear the shock mount. Also the
bottom corner of the inner fender may
need to be tweaked.

3. A 1/2” hole must be drilled in the
lower control approximately 2 15/16”
behind the rear edge of the steering
stop.
