8.1 Announcement Banner
An announcement banner typically shows up when you launch Scout with tips for
using the app. Tap on the banner to be directed to the appropriate screen if you
are interested in the tip. You can turn announcement banner tips on or off by
going to My Profile >> Messages. To view tips you may have missed upon first
launch of the app, go to My Profile >> Tips.
You may also see a notification badge on My Profile if you have not yet
downloaded Maps on My Device, or if there are map updates to download.
8.2 Share Location
1. On the Dashboard, choose the Down arrow under your
current location to expose the Share Location feature.
2. A list of locations near you will appear. Choose one to share via
Email, Text Message, Facebook, or Twitter.
