AMD INSTALLATION (AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/FM1/2)

INSTALLATION GUIDE
STEP 1
Remove the original supplied bracket from the motherboard.
STEP 2
Remove the AMD clips from the supplied
accessories. Note the proper mounting
positions for AM2/AM3 and FM1/2 sockets.
STEP 1
Remove the Intel clips from the supplied accessories.
Note the proper mounting positions for LGA775,
LGA 1155/1156 and LGA 1366.
STEP 2
Remove the standoffs from the supplied accessores.
Fasten the standoffs with screw-B through the
fastener holes of the Intel clips as shown below.
Ensure you are using the correct position for the
LGA socket of your Intel motherboard.
STEP 3
Remove the blister and sticker from the bottom of the
cooler. Fasten the clips to the cooler (using screw-A).
STEP 4
Apply a thin layer of thermal grease evenly to the top
of CPU.

STEP 3
Remove the standoffs from the accessories.
Fasten the standoffs with screw-B through
the fastener holes of the AMD clips.
STEP 4
Remove the blister and
sticker from the bottom
of the cooler.
Fasten the clips to the
cooler (using screw-A).
STEP 5
Apply a thin layer of thermal grease evenly to
the top of the CPU.
AM2 AM3 FM1/2
STEP 6
Position the clips over the mounting holes of the motherboard, and place the cooler onto the CPU.
Use the wrench and NUTS to fasten the clips to the motherboard.
Connect the 4-pin connector of fan to the CPU fan’s male connector on the motherboard.
STEP 5
Position the clips over the mounting holes of the motherboard, and place the cooler onto the CPU.
Use the supplied wrench and mounting NUTS to fasten the clips to the motherboard.
Connect the 4-pin connector of fan to the CPU fan’s male connector on the motherboard.
