STOCK (OEM) PULLEY/BALANCER

Step 1

Disconnect negative battery terminal, raise front of vehicle and secure with jackstands. (Be sure to use proper
safety precautions when supporting vehicle.)

Step 2

Loosen the (3) 7/16" bolts which hold the stock pulley/balancer to the crankshaft hub. However, do not
completely remove yet.

Step 3

Carefully remove the stock serpentine belt per factory instructions.

Step 4

Note the position of the line-up mark on the stock pulley/balancer, this will be lined up with the 1/4" diameter hole
on the BBK pulley when reinstalled.

Step 5

Now completely remove the (3) balancer/pulley bolts while holding pulley securely to avoid dropping or damaging
the pulley.

Step 6

Reassemble the new pulley, balancer/stock pulley and crank hub using the supplied 7/16" bolts, lockwashers and
flatwashers as shown in the diagram. Torque bolts to factory specification (approximately 60-80 ft/lbs).

Step 7

Install new serpentine belt (Dayco #5060595 or Gates #K060594).

Step 8

Carefully lower vehicle, reconnect negative battery terminal and start vehicle, making sure the belt is
aligned properly.
