Case of Lightning

DO EVERY STEP AT ONCE !
DO EVERY STEP AT ONCE !
Start in Tower
1) Shut off power to the Professional Gold Box by switching power switch
(Toggle Switch) on side of the Track Interface box.
2) Disconnect all connections from the Gold Box. Remove the Professional
Gold Box and place it in a safe location.
3) Disconnect Track Interface Box from power source (Battery).
4) Disconnect all USB connections to Drag Race Computer.
5) Disconnect Time slip Printer / Scoreboard cable from USB-485 Interface.
6) Shut down all P.C.’s and disconnect from A.C. (Outside Power).
Note: This is to protect from lightning when not in use.
Down Track
1) Disconnect Christmas Tree from A.C. Power and then remove the 24 pin
Circular Connector from Tower Cable. Cover 24 pin Connector to keep
Dirt and Moisture from entering pins.
2) Disconnect all Sensors by unplugging 3 Place Connectors (slip
connectors). There are 6 Connections in the Center of the Track at the
Start Line and 3 Connections on either side of the Starting Line. Make
sure that these Connections are covered to keep dirt and moisture out.
There are 14 Down track connections (60 foot, 330 foot, etc. that need to
be disconnected and covered to keep dirt and moisture out.
3) Disconnect Timeslip printer A.C. Power. Disconnect smart switch from the
cable coming in from the tower. Cover to keep out dirt and moisture.
Remove printer to safe location.
4) Disconnect scoreboard connections at bottom of scoreboards ( if using
RS-485 Scoreboards). Disconnection A.C. Power to Scoreboards.
