90 degree entering angle is the least favourable design for milling in HRSA due to the high
notching tendencies. However shoulder milling and profiling operations are demanded by the
component features e.g. mounting brackets, casings, rings (scallops), circular interpolation
of larger holes, slotting etc.
Grade, geometry and cutting data should be selected based upon the percentage radial
immersion.
